It was a real pleasure to photograph poets Andrew McMillan and his father Ian for the Sunday Times ‘Relative Values’ feature a few months ago.
I’ve known of Ian’s work from his appearances on radio shows in my youth and of course he’s the official poet of Barnsley Football Club. It was really enjoyable to spend a couple of hours with them discussing football and poetry. Mainly football, my poetry knowledge being sadly lacking.
